The Mass is: A SACRIFICE. Jesus’ sacrifice at Calvary is renewed. Jesus gave His life so that we might have everlasting life with God in heaven. Because of this perfect sacrifice, we can be saved from our sins. Christ’s Body and Blood are offered to us. In the Sacrament of the Eucharist, we accept the sacrifice of Jesus’ Body and Blood under the appearance of bread and wine. “EUCHARIST” comes from the Greek word meaning “grateful.”
La Misa es: UN SACRIFICO. El sacrificio de Jesús se renueva en el Calvario. Jesús dio Su vida para que pudiéramos tener una vida eterna con Dios en el cielo. Gracias a este sacrificio perfecto, podemos salvarnos de nuestros pecados. Se nos ofrece el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo. En el Sacramento de la Eucaristía aceptamos el sacrificio del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Jesús bajo la apariencia del pan y del vino. “EUCARISTIA” viene de la palabra griega que significa “agradecido.”
