March 15, all of the parishes in the United States will be participating in the special collection of the Catholic Relief Services and the Church in Latin America. Since 1943, Catholic Relief Services has been working to alleviate poverty, hunger and suffering. As we have witnessed in recent tragedies, it was the CRS who were one of the first to respond. Also the Church in Latin America has benefited from this annual collection with assistance in building strong faith communities. We know that the parishioners of Cristo Rey will respond generously to this appeal and second collection.
15 de Marzo, en todas las parroquias de los Estados Unidos Habrá una colecta especial para los Servicios Católicos de Auxilio y la Iglesia en America Latina. Desde 1943, los Servicios Católicos de Auxilio ha trabajado para aliviar la pobreza, el hambre y el sufrimiento. Como hemos visto en las tragedias recientes, fue el CRS (por sus siglas en Ingles) que fueron uno de los primeros en responder.
